After creating a cross-platform token system, we adapted the Wise Platform UI into a fully white-label experience. This helped the sales team demonstrate how our API integrates with partner banks, making the product easier to understand and more compelling to showcase.

The Challenge

Selling a product with no UI

Wise Platform gives banking partners the tools to embed seamless payment experiences using our API. It’s a powerful product that fits directly into partner ecosystems without needing a separate interface.

But that strength made it difficult to explain. Without a native UI, the sales team struggled to communicate the value clearly and often relied on outdated or patched-together visuals that didn’t do the product justice.

To bridge that gap, we designed an interactive demo that brought key Wise consumer flows to life. Including send, receive, card ordering, and onboarding, showcasing our full verification journey.

Tailored for use at events and in sales meetings, the demo gave the team a way to walk through the product in a way that felt real, familiar, and engaging.

Foundational variables

I expanded the configuration system to make it simple to update brand colours, typography, bank names, currencies, and currency values. This made it easier to tailor the demo for different partner pitches.

Currency variable demo

Structural variables

I linked currency variables to both text and visual elements, like flag assets. This allowed for consistent, scalable updates across the entire demo with just a single variable change.

I built multiple brand themes into the generic demo used for events and used a variable-based mode switcher to toggle between them. This made it easy to demo the malleability of the product from a single shared experience.

Wise Platform runs three major global events each year, bringing together over 250 attendees from more than 100 banking partners at each location. These events are a key opportunity to showcase the power of our platform.

At our Singapore event in September 2024 and our London event in May 2025, we introduced a dedicated demo corner—a hands-on iPad experience designed to bring the integration journey to life.
